The story behind Blooming Bridge Therapy:

Blooming Bridge Therapy was created from a simple but deeply held belief that no one should have to navigate the emotional weight of fertility challenges, pregnancy, loss, or early parenthood on their own. After more than 17 years working in the mental health sector, I saw how many people in regional South Australia were carrying these experiences quietly, often without specialised support close to home. After a deeply personal journey, imbedded by my own experience of battling with fertility challenges and loss to complete our family, I have been drawn to working alongside those who find themselves in the same predicament.

Blooming Bridge Therapy grew from that gap. It is a place designed for real human stories - messy, complex, hopeful, painful, and everything in between. Whether you are preparing for treatment, living through the uncertainty of the “two‑week wait,” rebuilding after loss, or trying to understand who they are in the midst of it all, my role is to walk alongside you with practical tools, compassion, and steadiness.

In Kadina, and through telehealth across the regions, sessions unfold in a calm, grounded space where people can exhale and be met as they are. Using a functional, evidence‑based approach, I help individuals reconnect with their sense of self, find moments of balance, and build coping strategies that fit the realities of daily life. The work is highly personalised as no two journeys look the same, and the support shouldn’t either.

Each of the therapeutic pathways offered : cycle regulation, coping support during high‑anxiety periods, identity and role changes, grief and loss care, partner support, and guidance through pregnancy after trauma, comes from years of learning and listening to what people actually need during these vulnerable chapters.

At its core, Blooming Bridge Therapy is about helping people cross difficult emotional terrain with steadiness, dignity, and agency. It’s about recognising that the path to parenthood, in all its forms, deserves care that is both clinically informed and deeply human.
